Diploma of Information Technology (Software Development)
DESCRIPTION
The objective of this Diploma course is to provide skills in programming and software development. On completion of the course students should have developed the skills required to work in the area of software development or programming.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no Specific entry requirements for this qualification. The training package does suggest entry competencies but these competencies are suggested only and are not pre-requisites.
It is however reasonable to expect that prior to commencing this training program, learners should have completed one of the following:
  • Certificate III or IV programs
  • A and O levels
  • 10+2
  • or an equivalent
Applicants who have already completed a universitry course or have studied in computing will be eligible to apply for VIT's Express Track mode of the Diploma.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS
Your first language/mother tongue should be ENGLISH (or)
The medium of Instruction should have been in ENGLISH at Secondary School (or) Learners sholud meet IELTS. Click here to "The Country Assessment Levels Table" to determine your Assessment Level.

By successfully completing the following subjects, students cover all of the learning outcomes as required by the Information Technology Industry Training Authority Board (IT itab) for the Diploma of Information Technology (Software Development).
